Robinson sued Louis Cohen and was awarded £1,000 damages against Cohen, who in a book "Reminiscences or Kimberley," said Sir J. B. Robinson was a fraudulent dealer, swindler, and coward, Emil Berger has been sentenced to three years' imprisonment at the Old Bailey for perjury in testifvmg against Sir J. B. Robinson concerning an alleged incident at Kimberlev in 1879.
