WELLINGTON, June 9. Robert McAleers, aged 25, was engaged this morning window-cleaning in Nathan's buildings when he slipped from a ledge on the fourth floor and fell into Grey street, a distance of 50 or 60 feet. He sustained such terrible injuries that he died soon after admission to the hospital.

Arthur Banks, a middle aged man, who was the Harbor Board tally clerk, was killed in a shed on the Glasgow wharf through some bales of tow falling on him. His leg was broken and his skull fractured.
