A very successful euchre party was helrl in the hall on Wednesday night, under the auspices of the Football Club. In spite of the unfavorable weather, between 50 and GO players sat at the tables.
The ladies' prize (n handsome musiccase) was won by Miss Scown. and the men's by Mr NoiJson. Tt is the intention of the club to hold these parties every fortnight, and to give prizes to both the man and the woman who secures the most points by the close of the season. The next will be held on the 12th, owing to other attractions m the district on the 19th. Wednesday's euchre party was followed by. a dance which Tras kept un till the small hours ot the morning.
