WELLINGTON, May 14. me Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association met last night, Mr F. M. B. Fisher presiding. The Hawke's Bay Association forwarded a copy of a letter from the Hastings Club asking for information as to the 1912 New Zealand championships, proposed to be held in Hawke's Bay. The letter was referred to a subcommittee consisting of the chairman and Mr Hurley. The quarterly meeting of the council has been called for Thursday, May 30. The committee decided to adopt the Ayres championship ball for the 1912 New Zealand championships, subject to satisfactory arrangements being made as to placing indent orders. The Australasian Association advised that the Buckley Cup competition would be held in Sydney, on August 3 and 5 and that negotiations were still being carried on with the object of securing a tour of Australasia by an English team. Melbourne has been selected as the place to be suggested to the challenging nations for playing the challenge rounds of the Davis Cup of 1912.
