The event was a 30-mile handicap, and was won by Mr Andrew Boag, private owner, on a 3| h.p. MATCHLESS. This machine made very fast time, averaging a mile a minute along the straights, easily beating all other makes of 3£ h.p. machines. Fastest time of the day :and fifth place were secured by Mr G. H.
