ASSAULT.
AUCKLAND, May 10. A laborer named Frank Taylor was •charged with having assaulted and robbed Edward Olsen, a newspaper vendor, and over seventy years of age. After hearing evidence of complaintant and two constables, accused entered a plea •of guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
