WELLINGTON, May 10. i-he case of Stagpoole v. Pirani, a lalmerston North action for alleged lijjei, was mentioned before Mr Justice "Cooper m Chambers to-day. Mr M Mjer appeared for plaintiff; and Mr a! W, Blair for defendant.
At the instance of Mr Myer His Jtionor made an order joining Mr T fc> JMiUs as defendant. Seven days were allowed the new party in which to tile -a statement of defence.
In connection with an application for change of venue, Mr Blair asked for an •adjournment.
Mr Justice Cooper adjourned the summons to next morning.
