The increasing popularity of the Vancouvev mail service is shown by the fact that the Makura, sailing for Vancouver to-morrow, takes a full complement of passengers, about 140 of whom will join the vessel here.

The demand for New Zealand pix>duce in Canada is also steadily increasing, and the Makura takes ljsoo boxes of butter, and large lines of onions, hides, frozen fish, etc.
