WAIMATE 11. v. OPUNAKE 11.

This match was played at Manaia on Saturday and resulted in a win for the home team by 43 to nil. The local team took the field with only 14 men but, nevertheless, proved too much for the visitors, Avho had rather a weak team. Tries for Manaia were obtained by McCook (1), Weitene (5), Wallace (1), J. Hughes (2), Daily (1), C. Jones (1), T. Ryan (1), and E. Meuil (1), of which only two were converted. Mr E. Burke refereed satisfactorily.
