At the Titanic enquiry Jewell, the j look-out, testified tnat ne received a message from the bridge at 4J.3U on Sunday night, instructing him to keep a sharp waocn for ice. He rejieaxea the order to the relieving watch.
Scarrott, a seaman, stated that it was difficult for the third-class passengers to reacn the boat-deck. Two ladders were the only means of appioach.
