V ■•* CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT.

. , _. SYDNEY, Jan. 30. The report of the Royal Commission ■which enquired into the trouble between Mr Speaker Willis and Mr Robinson, head of the Hansard staff, finds that Mr Willis acted within his powers and had' jgood grounds for suspending Robinson for insubordination in connection with certain letters he wrote to Mr Willi.s. The report points oub that Mr Robinson labored under an erroneous conclu- . *ion that he was denied under the new* Parliamentary regulations an opportunity of putting himself fully right with the Speaker. The Commissioner says he wishes to make it perfectly clear that not one word was said against Mr Robinson's ability. .He had-discharged his duties as head of the Hansard staff faithfully and well for many years.
