LONDON, Jan. 30. The Westminster Gazette reminds Mr Shuster that the Mejliss was not entitled to transfer the country's finance to a foreign controller without reference to the other Governments interested, and Mr- Shuster had unwittingly placed Sir E. Grey in a position of great embarrassment towards Persia on the one hand and towards Russia on the other. The article concludes by _ expressing trust that the Anglo-Russian entente will safeguard Persia's independence.
