COAL MINERS' MINIMUM WAGE.

8Y CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT (Received Jan. 31, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 30. A joint conference of colliery owners and miners engaged on British coalfields is to be held on February 7 to discuss a minimum wage. The Scottish miners have tendered six months' notice of the termination of the existing agreement, but the owners contend that insistence upon a minimum wage is., in itself, a breach of the agreement. The Conciliaton Board will' discuss the point on February 9.
