DROWNING ACCIDENT.
BLENHEIM, Jan. 30
At Whakatahuri yesterday, T. D. McManaway, sen., was drowned through falling off a launch at the wharf. His son left him to go to the house close by, and shortly after the body was seen by his daughter floating on the u rater. Deceased was 70 years of age.
