AUCKLAND'S ANNIVERSARY

AUCKLAND, Jan. 29
The anniversary of the foundation of New Zealand is being celebrated to-day in fine weather. There is a general holiday, the principal attractions being the regatta in the harbor, which was somewhat marred by light wind, and the races at Takapuna, which were largely attended.
