GOVERNMENT'S DILEMMA.

LONDON, August 1. It is unlikely the House of Commons •will deal with the Parliament Bill beiore next week.

The Times states the Government is .in a dilemma owing to the situation in the Lords. It must either send the .Dill to the Lords without any warranty that it will pass, or forthwith create mew r>eers.

Lord Lansdowne, writing to Lord -Camperdown, who has announced his preparedness to vote for the Government, if the action would prevent the ■creation of peers, stated he recommended his supporters to abstain from -voting. Personally, he would not vote -with the "Government when the Parliament Bill was returned.
