GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TILL BY-ELECTIONS ARE DECIDED.
SYDNEY, July 31. Mr Holman had a second interview with the Lieutenant-Governor, who asked him to withdraw the resignations of the Government, and granted the condition asked for, namely, that' Parliament prorogue over the by-elections. Mr Holman consented, and the prorogation will be issued to-morrow. In the meantime the Government continues in power.
