DUNEDIN, May 4. For some time past the Dunedin Hospital staff has been hampered for want of a separate ward for treatment of gynaecological cases. To build a new pavilion would cost something like £10,000, less the Government subsidy, and. with the object of raising the necessary funds Mr Hugh J. Ward was approached. Mr Ward offered the services of his company and stated his willingness^To head, a public subscription in aid of the new pavilion witik a cheque for £50 if ten other citizens would make a similar donation.
