LONDON, April 7. Bradford wool is brisk, with a hardening tendency for crossbred. The wheat markets are jfairly steady, and American is rather firmer. Chicago May shipments 85s to 86s 3d. Australian cargoes sold at 32s 6d to 32s 10£ d, «nd 33s l|d. European buyers are inactive. Thirty-thoree shillings is asked for South Australian March-April shipments; 32s 9d for Victorian April-May; 32s 6d for New South Wales steamer, March; 33s 3d was paid for a South Australian parcel afloat, and South Australian and Viotbrian April Shipment. Small trade is doing in Australian on 4he spot at 35s 9d, and in.New Zealand at 33s 9d to 345. . .

Butter.—Danish 120s to 1225; Ausfraand New Zealand unchanged. Choicest is selling well, but secondaries $re practically unsaleable. --■ Cheese.—New Zealand 625: Victorian, 58s to 60s.
