WEDDING.

The large attendance at the Methodist Church, Hawera, on Wednesday afternoon, bore ample testimony as to the interest taken in the marriage of Mr George Walter Reed, Jts. Com., F.I.A. (N.Z.), and manager of the International School of Correspondence in New Zealand, the youngest son of MrJohn Reid, of Wellington, to Miss Constance Taiaroa Strack, 8.A., daughter of Mr C. A. Strack, J.P., headmaster of the Hawera District High School. The Rev. Mr Boys was the officiating minister. A strong choir was in attendance under Mr Hutchens. Some pretty floral decorations had been arranged near the altar and along the choir portion of the Church. As the bride-elect entered Mr Morshead played Lohengrin's "Bridal March. The <&oit _sang "The Voice that Breathed ocr Eden," and the ceremony was then proceeded with. The bride, who looked charming, was given away by her lather. Her dress was of creme chiffon taffeta, with pearl and passementerie trimming; she also wore a handsome yeil embroidered in Limerick lace, j and the usual orange blossoms ThA j bride carried a beautiful shower bouquet.
