THE ELECTORAL LAWS.
The following questions have been put by Mr T. K. Sidey to the Prime Minister :Whether, in relation to the proposed amendment of the electoral laws, he will consider whether machinery might not be devised to permit of the votes being recorded of persons unable to attend a polling booth on account of illness; and, if he considers a workable scheme can be devised, will he move to insert a J>rovision to that effect in the Legislature Amendment Bill now before the Bbuse ?
