DUNEDIN, May 23. At a meeting of the Otago Rugby Union to-night an enquiry was held into the leport by the referee that Mitchell (Alhambra) had struck a University play«-r in a- match between, these teams on Saturday week. Mitchell admitted striking Dansey, of the University team, ani Dansey admitted striking Mitchell. Both were 'suspended until the end of first round, to complete which six matches have still to be played. Mitchell is a member of the New Zealand team for Australia.
