A NAPIER RESOLUTION.

Comment was made at yesterday's meeting of the Chamber of Commerce on the absence of reliable news concerning the Argentine trade. • A member pointed out that a drought of an extensive character occurred, and this affected the output enormously, and the price went up m London. This information would have been very useful to the Dominion producers if obtained promptly instead of having to wait five weeks for it. . The Chamber resolved: "That the Minister for Agriculture be asked to make an arrangement with the High Commissioner for cabling reliable lniormation as to what is happening in the Argentine as affecting New Zealand trade."
