A NOVEL MOTION.

SYDNEY, April 9. A novel proposal was made at the meeting of the Seaham Miners' Lodge, Newcastle, for the purpose of effecting the release of the Labor leaders. It is contained in the following notice ot motion: "We, members of the Federation, find that the severe mental strain incurred through the lmprisonment of 'our leaders, along with the arduous nature of the work, is having the effect of making us physically incapable of performing work; therefore, it is resolved that, in order to safeguard health, we do not produce more than a certain amount of coal per day untf?^erelease of the leaders."
