WELLINGTON, March 1&. The expenditure of railway votes,totalling £29,000,. was authorised by Cabinet to--d'ay. Plans and specifications are to be immediately prepared for the erection of- a new courthouse at Johnsonville, and Cabinet decided to invite tenders for a similar building at Opotiki. Tenders were accepted for the erection of the big Wanganui traffic bridge, a courthouse, at Taumarunui, a railway station and' buildings on the Stratford-Ongarue line, and for the supply of grass seed- to the Lands Department.
