PALMERSTON N., March 15. Powelka was captured at Awahuri yesterday afternoon. He made no attempt at resistance when caught, and was handcuffed and brought into Palmerston. He had slept out on the road on Sunday night. He appeared before the Magistrate this afternoon, and was remanded to Wellington.
