The Proprietary Co. filed in the Federal Arbitration Court an answer to the Union's claims. It contends that the wages ruling at one mine should not necessaz-ily rule at the rest, aiid if the old rate continued difficulties would be placed in the way of profitably working the mine, considering thir- amount and nature of the) ore i&maining in the mine, the increased cost of treatment, the fall in the price of metals and other matters.
