ia followed by cataloguing the sexes in the cattle section , together, the bulls being in one part and the cows and heifers in another part of the book. There are other confusing ideas,. The draught horse classes, judged on the second day, are catalogued before the draught horses judged on the first day. The factories which have come first in previous years for the big export produce trophies should appear in the catalogue,. The general arrangement of the stock" classes could also be improved. For instance, the fat cattle section conies first in the catalogue, and the cows are catalogued before the bulls. The arrangement of the Manawatu catalogue could be adopted with distinct advantage.
