Cattle: The supply was in excess of requirements, and the sale dragged, prices receding' from 10s to 15s per head. Best bullocks £9 to £10 15s, medium £7 15s to £8 17s 6d, light and unfinished £6 to £7 ss, best heifers £7 10s to £8 17s 6d, good £6 10s to £7 ss.

Sheep: Prices opened from Is to Is 6d below last week's rates, but improved slightly towards the end. Best wethers 20s to 235, extra up to 27s 3d, good 17s 6d to 19s 6d, light and inferior 14s to 16s, best ewes 17s to 19s 3d, e^tra heavy 26s 6d. Lambs: 185 were yarded. A good yarding of best lambs sold up to 16s 3d, and lighter sorts from 9s to 15s 6d.

Pigs: Smill pigs sold at prices fully equal to last week's. Suckers 20s to 235, slips 25s to 28s. stores 33s to 38s, porkers 43s to 48s, light baconers 53s to 58s, heavy 60s to 655, choppers up to £3 17s.
