Carlson, a sailor, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment on charges of theft. A similar sentence was imposed on James Mason, alias Good, charged with theft from a dwelling at Woodville. * WELLINGTON, October 27. Assad Bahout, a Syrian dealer, was to-day granted a decree nisi for the dissolution of his marriage with Caroline Bahout, on the grounds of desertion.
