(Received April 14, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 14. Burglars dynamited a safe at the Cooma railway station, and secured £149. Commissioner McKie, head of the Salvation Army, has received General Booth's instructions to farewell Australia. The Herald's Melbourne correspondent reports that Mr Deakin yielded to the pressure of his colleagues in retaining office. When the House meets on Wednesday the postponement of the motion for the appointment of a Royal Commission on the post office will be asked until the Tariff Bill has passed. If that is not postponed Mr Deakin will resign.
