SYDNEY, April 13. The steamer Perth reports that it saw rocket, signals of distress effi the •f asmanian coast ai midnaght on Friday. It bore down and found the steamer Karori with n broken Ujrust shaft. The Parth stood by till Sat urday Light and transhipped the mails*. The Karen's engineers effected repairs. The vessel is proceeding to Sydney under easy stccm.
