FREIGHTS ON HOME PRODUCE.
-WELLINGTON, April 14. It is announced by the four large steamship companies that a reduction will be made in the freight to the Old Country. The alteration dates from to- . day, and ig to hold good until 30th September next. The reductions are as follows:— Wool and skins one-eighth of a penny per Ib; hemp and tow, 10s per ton weight ; and tallow ,end pelts, 5s per ton weight.
