WELLINGTON, April 11. At the Supreme Court to-day John Smith, alias Wilson, was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment for what Mr Justice Cooper described as an abominable offence committed at Wanganui. William Johnston, for theft, was sentenced to three years.
