NEW YORK, April 6. The New York World says that Gotch jammed his thumbs in Hackenschmidt',B . eyes and punched his face, fetching blood. Hackenschmidt repeatedly complained , to the .referee, who declined to interfere. Hackenschmidt states that Gotch' s body.~was oiled, anfl that Gotch dug his fingernails into his opponent's .fape, tried to pull an ear off, and 'fought fike a cat.
