. -The system of "sabotage," consisting of the- dilatory expedient of botching work and wilfully damaging material, led ,the employers of Paris, besides rejecting the ina*ns\ demand for a nine -hours' day. insteadof ten, and also for higher wages, tojdecjare a general lockout, affecting 60,000 men. Should the carpenters, plasterers and other trades join the dispute 200,000 workers will be thrown' idle. .
