FRENCH-CANADIAN STEAMSHIP SERVICE.
OTTAWA, April 4. Mr Brodeur, Minister.^for $Lsrio&? in the Dominion House oi Commopi, announced that the Allan steamship' line undertakes a direct servide tietween Canada and France of eighteen 1 round trips. The subsidy of three hundred thousand dollars, he said, would be doubled if trade under the new French treaty warrants.
