The Band Bazaar was again well patronised on Saturday afternoon and evening, and business was brisk all the time till closing time, and. most of the goods were disposed of. During the four days on which the bazaar was neld the gross takings amounted to about £275, and it is expected that after paying all expenses, and also th& co-t of the uniforms, there ■wall still be a balance in hand. At midnight Mr Hunt, an behalf of the band, thanked all the workers and the general public for the way they had assisted and patronised the .bazaar, and called for 3 cheers for the ladies, which were given in a very hearty manner. During the evening the usual side fihows were well patronised. The quoits championship was ■won by Mr Eoran, 'and in the sheep guessing competition Messrs L. G. Neilson and Mr J. S. McKay ' divided the prize money, both being only ilb out; the former guessed' 177£ and the latter 178£, 178 being the actual weight. The local bowlers travel by brake to Eltham to-morrow (Wednesday), and the following rinks nave been chosen: Kiss-, xmg, Bridge, M. Franklin, Armitag© (skip) ; Blair, Prince, Bigham, Hill (skip) ; Christie, Paterson, Meldon, Hair (skip) ; Hunt, Mudford, A. Franklin, Lusher (skip).
