CORRESPONDENCE.

TOKAORA SCHOOL.

Sir, — In reading your valuable paper ot late I am pleased to see that .some kind friend at last brought the subject oi the Tokaora School before the public. I must confirm to a great extent what has been said, although perhaps not in every detail. Still it is a. shameful place to be called a public schooi, and I think I can say it would never have been sanctioned by the parents of the children ait Tokaora only in a most temporary way. Hoping sincerely after all that has been. Baid and done by the School Committee and others our long-promised school will be forthcoming without delay. Thanking you for your valuable space. — I am, etc., W. M. BELL,

Chairman of the Tokaora School Com

mittee.
