TECHNICAL CLASSES. Owing to the inolement state of the weather there were rather small attendances at the technical classes for dairying and dressmaking, but both classes are filling up well, especially the flormer. FOOTBALL. The annual meeting of the Waimate Football Club wsus hield at the Manaria Hotel on Tuesday evening, Mr M. Bolger in the chair. Tno balance sheet was adopted. The club started the year with a. credit of £23 12s 7d, and after paying outstanding accounts for £15 lls wound up with, a "balance in hand of £35 63 Bd. Christie, and captain ; junior selectors, Mr John Young ; second junior selectors Mr Bolger and captain of team ; captain, E. Bourke. The opcring day will bie 30th inst. The sub. is to be the same as last year (3s), and all members who have not paid by the ssdond cup match will not be eligible to play.
