OWING to the impofsibility of; securing a suitable site for a Technical University, it has now been decided to etect a Public Monu ment in Wellington to ihe memory of the iate Right Hon R. J Seddon. The monument is intended to be a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants of Hawera and its neighborhood will heartily support the monument. Subscriptions in any sums from one shilling upwards will be giadly received and duly acknowledged.
