FOOTBALL AMONG SAVAGES.

Football is now largely played by African savages, according to Mifi3 Mary Hal. who has just traversed the wild region between the Cape and Cairo.

"It took me ahout two years to make the trip," said Miss Hall, who lectured before the Geographical Society. "Almost everywhere, especially at Mingo, in Central Africa, I found the natives playing this interesting game."
