ACCLIMATISATION AFFAIRS.

1 WELLINGTON, Septmber 6. ' Delegates <£rom the Aoclimatdsatoon Conference waited on the Hon. A. Pitt (Colonial Secretary) with a view to having certain suggestions, embodied in law. With regard to setting aside D'Urville Island as a sanctuary for game, ihet Hon. Mr Pitt said he had previouely submitted the matter to the Government, but it had not been finally dealt with. He would, however, submit it again. It was an idead place for tine purpose.
