ANOTHER PRINCELY KLEPTOMANIAC.

Kleptomania, the distressing complaint which attacks for preference persons of wealth and position, has found another victim in Princess Pelageia Taktakbva. Other people's chicken runs had an. irresistible attraction for the Princess, whose estate at Koemo-Chiwifei, In the Caucasian district of Gori, adjoins that of Prince Constantino Zinianoff. The latter, as' well as other landed proprietors in the vicinity, suffered from constant depredations on thedr fowl houses, but no one suspected _ their handsome, aristocratic neighbor until one day recently, when Prince Zizianoff's little daughter came running up to her father and told Mm ■tihat she had seen the Prinoese taking away some of his fowls. The Prince instituted a discreet search in the noble lady's carnage, which stood/ at some distance, and found the fowls seonrely tied up in a sack wad&tneath the seat. The sequel was an action brought by the prince, which led to the discovery of a great number of stolen chickens in the Princess' henhouse. The peccant lady will expiate her misdeeds in prison, the "exclusive privileges," behind which Russian nobles ofteir shelter themselves, being denied her in this instance.
