PLUCK AND RESOURCE RECOGNISED.

The Australasian/ Institute of Engineers has presented gold badges to Mr Bennett (chief engineer), and Mr Hastilor (second jengineer) of the steamer Victoria to mark appreciation of their pluck and resourcefulness displayed in repairing damage to the steamer'B cylinder.
