ANALYSIS OF PETROLEUM.

AUCKLAND, July 10.

Mr Pond, colonial analyst, made the result of his analysis of a sample of petroleum known to-day. The report is highly favorable in every Tespect, and states that the crude petroleum submitted is a valuable article every portion of its product having a marketable value. It requires a steady and comtrimious outflow, with proper treatment, to ensure commercial success.
