At the annual meeting of the British Empire League, Mr Jenkins, Agent-Gene-ral for South Australia, emphasised that foreign trade with Australia was increasing more rapidly than Irtish, though Australians would sooner trade with the British than outside nations. The League unanimously tendered its heartiest congratulations to Mr Chamber-
