THE CABLE DISPUTE.
MELBOURNE, July 10.
Mr Chapman, Federal Postmaster- General, stated that before tho Eastern Extension office is reopened he -will have to be satisfied that the Government cannot offer cable owners similar facilities to those formerly provided by tho company.
