The Estate is situated within 2$ miles of the Township of Taupiri, to which there is a good road in all weather, and the Main Trunk Railway runs through the town, where there is a station, creamery, post and telegraph office, church, school, stores, etc. The township of Huntly, the centre of a large coal mining district, is within about 4 miles, and a month is paid in wages by one mining company alone, thus affording a good local market for farming produce of all kinds. There is a school nearly in the centre of the property, and a creamery and school close to the Hokinui boundary. A creamery will be erected on the property, as marked on the plan, and will be completed in time for next season's milking. The subdivisions range from 100 to 600 acres, enabling those with small capital to acquire a holding on Easy Terms, and which will yield them an immediate return for their labor.
