LIBERATIONISTS REJOICE
Intense satisfaction at the number of Nonconformists elected to the .new Parliament was expressed by all the speakers at the annual parliamentary breakfast of the Liberation Society and the dissenting deputies at the Holborne Restaurant. Alderman Evan Spicer, who presided, said that so far as> he could ascertain theme were in the House of Commons : 65 Conjgregationalists, 30 Wesleyans, 14 Baptists, 22 Presbyterians, .14 Unitarians, 8 Galvinistic Methodists, 7 Primitive Methodists-, 7 Friends, 3 United Free Methodists, 24 of other bodies. Lord StanJey of Alderley stated that it would not be practicable to introduce a. bill for disestablishment and disendowment in the present Parliament.
